I was thrilled to have been asked to contribute artwork to Luaka Bop's forthcoming release, Who is William Onyeabor? The songs by the obscure but influential Nigerian musician William Onyeabor, all recorded in the 70's and 80's, are infectious and affecting, and were way ahead of their time with his combinations of traditional rhythms and early digital sounds. Release date is Oct 15, 2013, but you can download a song here now.
